Part-time/afterschool babysitter/nanny needed from 3-6 pm, Mon-
Thurs, help care for our 15-month old son Kevin and our 6-year-old
daughter Heather (in grade 1). Family has a nanny who works until 3
pm, and anticipates needing some additional help after she leaves.
Mother will likely be home for part of the time on some days, and at
work the whole time on other days. Duties will likley include
feeding children dinner (and tidying up from that), supervising
homework, bathing children, and going out to play. Work days and
ending time somewhat negotiable (for example would consider someone
who could work 3 afternoons per week, and/or stay later on Mondays).
Child care experience with toddlers preferred; experience with older
children also appreciated. Ability to pick up daugher from after-
school activities with own car preferred.

Position Available: Early Childhood Teacher in Preschool 2
2 PM-6 PM

Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to meet Massachusetts Early
Education and Care (EEC) [formerly Office for Child Care Services
(OCCS)] qualifications for Preschool Teacher. Candidates must have,
or be working towards, a degree in Early Childhood Education.
Desirable qualifications include at least one year experience with
preschoolers in a licensed child care facility.

Primary Responsibilities: Work with team of three other teachers to
plan, implement and evaluate a developmentally based, emergent
curriculum for children 3.6 to 5 years. Observe, record and
communicate children's progress. Document children's learning.
Share responsibility for the safety and well-being of children in our
care, participate in staff and planning meetings and other program-
wide duties as assumed or assigned.

Salary: $14.07-$17 per hour to start depending upon educational
qualifications and experience.

Position for Research Assistant at the Center for Children with
Special Needs at Floating
Hospital, Tufts-NEMC. The position involves administering testing
instruments to
adolescents with autism spectrum disorders and their families in a
study about quality of
life. Responsibilities include recruiting and scheduling patients,
performing
psychological testing under the supervision of a developmental
pediatrician, analysis of
results and data entry. Hours are flexible but applicants should be
able to work at least
