(9/29/09) Position at Burlington Preschool

I am writing on behalf of The Nurturing Nest, a small preschool in
Burlington, MA. Due to surgical/medical leave for our current
director/lead teacher, we have an urgent need for an interim EEC
Certified Preschool Director/Lead Teacher. This position will begin
the middle of October and last an expected 3-4 months.

We would like to immediately use your network of alumni and students
to find qualified candidates.

You can read more about our school on our fledgling website: www.nurturingnest.org
. We are a small school with a total enrollment of 45 students who
meet in 3 different classes, either AM or PM. There are classes every
morning Mon -Fri, and Tues & Thus afternoons. The job would entail
approximately 28-30 hours of on-site work per week. This person would
work with 2 assistant teachers to conduct the classes and he/she would
also handle most of the administrative tasks during the time period.
There is a secretary on site four mornings/week who helps with
newsletters, contact with parents, etc.

Attached is an announcement you can post. I would also urge you to
contact me directly for more information.

Qualified applicants should send their resume and a copy of their
certification to emlydgrammy@comcast.net or fax it to 781-272-9190 –
Attn: Millie Wiegand. Messages can also be left for me at
781-272-0081 ext 4.

I am going out of town for the remainder of this week, but would like
to talk with you further on Monday, Oct 5th regarding your process for
posting.

Thanking you in advance for your assistance,

Millie Wiegand

(9/25/09) child care needed in Arlington

"Arlington family with two-year-old girl and newborn seeking 8 hours/

beginning late November. Seeking someone responsible and caring, with
childcare experience and own transportation or ability to get to our
home in Arlington Heights. Main focus, to care for our older child,
or sometimes to help with our newborn while I (a stay-at-home parent)
spend some time with our toddler. Our energetic, good-natured
daughter craves company and play-time, and we want to help ease her
(and our!) adjustment to having a new baby in the house. Times we
need help would primarily be afternoon and early evening, and we can
work around your schedule. $15/hour. If interested, please contact
