(11/14/08) Dog sitter needed

We are looking for a dog-loving student to stay with our wonderful,
easy dog, Oreo, for two days and one night over the Thanksgiving break
(Sunday & Monday), and also for 5 days and 4 nights over Christmas
(probably the 23rd - 27th). We live in Wellesley, about 35 minutes
from Tufts (you can access via the commuter rail but it is easier if
you have a car) in a very safe neighborhood. Your responsibilities
would be to keep Oreo company (he's social and gets lonely), walk him
and feed him twice a day. Otherwise, you could do as you please, get a
lot of school work done, enjoy being in a home for a few days (cook,
have friends over), and make a little money. It's nice for a couple of
friends, a couple, or international students who can't go home over
the holiday break. Please don't respond to this message but email: martha.pott@tufts.edu
. Put "Dog Sitter" in the subject line. Let me know if you're
interested in TG, Christmas, or both.

(11/13/08) BU Research Opportunity on Adolescent Development

Hi, my name is Sunny Shin, Assistant Professor at Boston University School of Social Work. I am looking for a research collaborator whose interests are in adolescent development and substance abuse. In specific, I look for a collaborator who is interested in latent variable analysis, has used M-plus before, and preferably, who are currently using the Add Health dataset. This is a non-paid position, and focuses on manuscript development and future grant collaboration. It could take the forms of an independent study, critical essay, proposal development, etc. If you have any question, please let me know. Thanks.
