(9/11/08) Research & policy internship: religious and spiritual dev. in low-income families

An exciting new research and policy internship is available to a
master's or doctoral level student. The Women, Children and Families
Division of the Research Triangle Institute (RTI), based in Waltham,
MA (1/2 hour from Tufts) seeks a master's level intern who will work
on a project focusing on researching the role that religiosity and
spirituality play in the lives of low-iincome families. This new
project is funded by the U.S. Dept. of Health & Hukman Services, and
includes conducting a literature review, researching and producing a
user friendly report geared toward researchers and policymakers.
Martha Pott (martha.pott@tufts.edu) can send you a more detailed
description of the internship and put you in touch with the senior
research associate who will supervise it. Ideally, the internship will
begin soon and will finish in May '09 (i.e., year-long), but a more
intensive second-semester internship will also be considered. It is
unpaid.
