Jumpstart is seeking volunteers to participate in its Readers Program
this Spring. Jumpstart Readers commit to going into a Somerville
classroom once a week for 1.5 hours to spend time with the children.
Readers are trained in dialogic reading, adult-child interactions, and
other useful areas. Applications can be picked up at the Campus
Center Info Booth or the Jumpstart office at 106 Lincoln-Filene Center
on the Academic Quad. We are extending the deadline to February 4 by
5pm, by which time completed applications need to be dropped off
outside 106 Lincoln-Filene Center. Please email jreaders@gmail.com
