Post Doctoral Opening

The University of Maryland's Child Development Lab has an opening for a
Post Doctoral Fellow beginning September, 2008. The person would work on
two longitudinal data sets examining the trajectories of infant
temperament
across childhood and adolescence and factors - within the child, the
family
and child care -- that modify these trajectories. One of the data sets
includes detailed information on day care status of infants and young
children with observations of social behavior in day care in
collaboration
with Professor Deborah Phillips. The Post Doctoral Fellow would work
with
Dr. Fox and Phillips on this data set. Interested candidates should have
familiarity with the general area of developmental psychopathology and
research in child temperament. A background or knowledge of statistical
modeling techniques for longitudinal research is desirable. Interested
persons should send a letter of application and a CV to Dr. Nathan Fox
at
fox@umd.edu.
