Subject: [Fwd: Could you help distribute the ad for a postdoc person for
me?]

Dear Jackie,

Happy holidays! I hope that this email finds you well.

I am writing to ask if you could distribute this add to your graduate
students. I got another grant from Spencer ($583,000 direct). This is a
continuation of my ongoing project that was funded by the Foundation for
Child Development. So I will be following 300 Chinese immigrant
middle-class, low-income, and European American preschool kids,
respectively for 3 years on how they develop learning beliefs.

I am hoping to hire a postdoc to manage the project. I have an ad
already at SRCD's website. But I hope to reach many interested people.
It's a 3-year commitment. But there will be a lot of learning how to run
a longitudinal project and publication. Chinese language skill is a plus
but not required because. I have plenty of RAs who are native Chinese
speakers. This position does require good skills in HLM and SEM.

So I would greatly appreciate it if you could help distribute this ad to
the students who are graduating and encourage them to apply.

Thank you so much,

Jin
